th place following the final round of the Quail Valley Intercollegiate at the 7,460-yard, par-72 Quail Valley Golf Club.
Senior
Preston Stanley shot an even-par 72 in the third round to finish tied for 15
th with 3-under par-213. Freshman
Raul Hernandez also shot an even-par round, climbing nine spots to tie for 41
st place with 220. Senior
Trey Cassity shot a 74 in the final round to remain tied for 54
th at 223. Senior
Brandon Wilhide totaled a 73 in the final round to tie for 63
rd place at 225 along with junior
Isaiah Huerta who carded a 75.
North Florida kept first place with 24-under par-840. Tennessee rose three spots to place second with 846. Michigan State climbed into the top-five, placing third at 853. Stephen F. Austin finished in fourth place just a stroke behind SFA. McNeese State finished in fifth place.
Tennessee's Jack Smith and Tyler Mcdaniel for Kentucky tied for first place with 11-under par-205. McNeese State's Andreas Krokeide finished in third place a stroke behind the two in first. North Florida's Joey Petronio and MJ Maguire finished in fourth and fifth place, respectively. Arizona's Alex McMahon tied for fifth along with UNF's Maguire.
The Huskies return to play February 9-10, 2015 at Oak Hill Country Club in San Antonio, Texas.
