FRISCO, Texas – HBU placed 37 student-athletes on the 2013 Southland Conference Fall Honor Roll, as the league released the list of over 900 student-athletes from five sports Wednesday.

Of the 37 Huskies honored by the office, 12 earned a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall semester: Carolyn McClanahan and Jamie Whitt from women's cross country; Alessia Dal Monte, Morgan Dean, Taylor Gibson, Shelby Horn, Blake Martin, Chelsea Thornhill, and Molly Weeks from women's soccer; and Kayla Armer, Haley Hoffman, and Bailey Keith from volleyball.

Women's soccer led Huskies' sports with 18 honorees. Football student-athletes were not eligible this year because they did not play a conference schedule.

To earn a spot on the conference Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have had a 3.0 or greater GPA in the fall semester and been eligible to compete in the 2013 season.

Central Arkansas led the conference with 124 student-athletes on the Honor Roll, with 24 athletes who earned a 4.0 GPA.
