Katy Kile scored a 77 in the third round, bringing her overall tournament total to 225 to secure her tie for ninth place Tuesday at the ULM Invitational at the Wilderness Ridge Golf Course.

Christina Cantu finished just two strokes behind Kile, placing her in a tie for 18

st place, with a score of 73 in the third round and an overall score of 228. Senior

st place with a score of 74 in the third round, along with her 78 and 76 in the first two rounds. Junior
Caitlyn Cassity tied for 30
th as she scored 74 in the last round, bringing her overall total to 231. Senior individual
Jenny Kang tied for 76
th with an overall score of 253.
Louisiana-Monroe ended up finishing first in the tournament with a team total of 884, after scoring 294, 295 and 295 in all three rounds. Lamar University trailed by one stroke, leaving them to finish second for the tournament. Troy secured third place with a team overall total of 895. The Huskies finished fourth with an overall score of 903 after scoring their tournament best 297 in the last round. McNeese State finished fifth with a score of 909.
Louisiana Monroe's Alison Knowles placed first in the tournament with a total of 212 after scoring 69, 72 and 71 in all three rounds. Lamar's Taylor Stockton trailed by four strokes to secure second place. Oklahoma City's Elia Folch scored a 219 to finish third within the tournament.
The Huskies will return to action Monday, Sept. 30 at the ORU Invitational in Tulsa, Okla.
