BATON ROUGE, La. – The Houston Baptist men's golf team earned the automatic bid to reach the NCAA Regionals and are now set to compete in the LSU Regional Thursday-Saturday, May 16-18 from University Club just down the road from the LSU campus.

HBU earned the first automatic bid for the university since the return to NCAA Division I and is the program's first automatic bid since 1988.

The seedings in the LSU Regional are as follows:

1. Alabama
2. Florida
3. LSU
4. Mississippi State
5. Houston
6. Northwestern
7. Tennessee
8. South Alabama
9. Coastal Carolina
10. UAB
11. Wichita State
12. Southeastern Louisiana
13. HBU

The first and second rounds will start at 8 am on both Thursday and Friday. Tee time for the third and final round will begin at 7:30 am on Saturday.
