Caiti Wenger led the Huskies with a match-high of 22 kills in their 3-1 (26-28, 25-15, 25-20, 27-25) victory over McNeese State Thursday evening in Sharp Gym.

Madeline Gaffney recorded 17 kills for HBU (11-14, 6-7 SLC). Freshman outside hitter
Jessica Wooten had 15 kills for the Huskies, along with 11 digs. Freshman setter
Kayla Armer had a match-high of 58 assists for HBU, along with a team lead of 13 digs. Junior libero
Haley Hoffman had 12 digs for the Huskies, while freshman defensive specialist
Beth Shecterle and junior outside hitter
Bailey Keith each had 10 digs.
Malina Sanchez led the Cowgirls with 18 kills. Sophie Tenbusch had 14 kills, while teammate Amber Fryer had 10 kills. Vanessa Bentley recorded 35 assists for McNeese. Kelly Graham had 14 assists for the Cowgirls. Kara Rockey had a match-high of 19 digs, while Kimberlyn Patterson had 11 digs for McNeese.
The Huskies outblocked the Cowgirls 9.5 blocks to 9. HBU outdug McNeese by 10 digs. The Huskies outhit the Cowgirls 72-56.
The Huskies return to action Saturday, Nov. 2 as they face Nicholls State at 1 p.m. in Sharp Gym.
