CORPUS CHRISTI, Tx. – The volleyball team travels to Corpus Christi on Thursday night to face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (9-15, 5-7) at 6:30 p.m. inside the Dugan Wellness Center.

The Huskies (12-13, 7-5 SLC) enter the match coming off a 3-0 sweep over Northwestern State on Nov. 1 at Sharp Gym. HCU currently sits sixth in the Southland standings and looks to build on a one-match win streak as the regular season winds down.

HCU's offense is led by Allana Archie with 242 kills, followed by Joya Euhus with 173 and Hannah Redrow with 160. Peyton Fadal has provided 695 assists this season, while Bianca Byerly leads the defense with 292 digs. Archie also leads the blocking front with 63.0 total blocks.

A&M-Corpus Christi comes into Thursday after back-to-back losses to UTRGV, falling 1-3 in Edinburg and 2-3 at home. The Islanders are paced by Katelyn Krienke with 198 kills and setter Virginia Van Der Werff, who holds 882 assists and 36 aces.

HCU and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi have already met once this season — the Huskies took the first matchup 3-1 on Oct. 9 at Sharp Gym in Houston.

This will be the first of two road matches for HCU this week, before the Huskies continue south to Edinburg to face UTRGV on Saturday, Nov. 8 at noon.
