Bailey Keith each recorded 15 kills in their 3-2 (21-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-22, 15-4) victory over Stephen F. Austin Saturday afternoon in Sharp Gym.
Senior middle blocker
Caiti Wenger recorded 13 kills for the Huskies. Freshman outside hitter
Jessica Wooten recorded another double-double with 12 kills and 23 digs. Freshman setter
Kayla Armer led HBU (10-12, 5-5 SLC) with a match-high of 56 assists. Sophomore
Haley Mueller had 15 digs for the Huskies, while junior
Haley Hoffman had 22 digs.
Keeley Kainer led the Ladyjacks with 14 kills, while teammate Jacque Allen had 12 kills. Justice Walker also had 12 kills for SFA. Paige Holland recorded 37 assists for the Ladyjacks. OJ Olson had a match-high of 25 digs, while Madison Martin had 13 digs.
The Ladyjacks outblocked the Huskies 12-9.5. HBU outhit SFA 64-57. The Huskies also outdug the Ladyjacks 77-59.
The Huskies return to action next week for a two-game road trip. They will face Central Arkansas Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. and then Oral Roberts on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 2 p.m.
