Following a Daniella Rodarte fielder's choice and a Mac Christensen walk, loading the bases, Sara Corcoran doubled to left-center, scoring Rademacher and Rodarte, to make it 4-0 HBU. Army stopped the bleeding as the Black Knights got two grounders to end the inning.

The only scoring in the bottom of the fifth was once again started by a Weidert walk. She advanced to second on a wild pitch and to third on a sacrifice bunt. Rademacher hit a ball deep to right field, which scored Weidert, giving HBU a 5-0 lead.
