FRISCO, Texas – Sophomore goalkeeper
Emmy McKeon was named the Southland Conference Goalkeeper of the Week on Tuesday morning following her shutout win this past Sunday.
McKeon registered six saves in the Huskies' 2-0 road victory over Louisiana Tech on Sunday afternoon to close non-conference play. In four games this season, McKeon is averaging six saves per game and owns a save percentage of .774. Sunday's shutout was the fifth of her career.
McKeon and the Huskies host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at Sorrels Field this coming Thursday, Sept. 18, at 7:00 p.m. to kick off SLC play.
