TULSA, Ok. — Houston Christian women's basketball continues its early non-conference road stretch Thursday evening when the Huskies travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for a 6:30 p.m. matchup against the Golden Hurricane at the Reynolds Center. This will mark the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
The Huskies (0–2) are coming off a double-overtime battle at Tarleton State, where they fell 75–71 after a competitive showing that featured four players scoring in double figures. Redshirt junior

Grace Booth lead the offense with 13.5 points per game each. Freshman
Kamryn McLaurin has made a strong early impression, averaging 11.0 points while shooting 60 percent from the field, and
Tove Caesar is adding 7.5 ppg on 46.2 percent shooting.
HCU is averaging 63.0 points per game while shooting 38.7 percent from the floor and 36.4 percent from three-point range, connecting on eight threes per game.
On the defensive end, Booth leads the way on the boards with 9.5 rebounds per game, ranking among the Southland Conference leaders.Jackson, meanwhile, is pulling down 5.0 rpg.
Tulsa (2–0) enters Thursday's contest with momentum following wins over New Orleans (77–60) and Prairie View A&M (79–59). The Golden Hurricane are led by Abby Jegede, averaging 19.0 points per game on 56.5 percent shooting, and Mady Cartwright, who adds 16.5 points with six made three-pointers through two games. Tulsa averages 78.0 points per game, shooting .418 from the field and out-rebounding opponents by 7.5 per game.
Following Thursday's road trip, the Huskies return to Houston to host LeTourneau University in their home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m. inside Sharp Gym.
