HAMMOND, La. – HCU women's soccer is set for a 7:00 p.m. road matchup with the Southeastern Lady Lions this Thursday evening at Strawberry Stadium as the Huskies vie for position in the Southland Conference standings.
HCU (7-7-2, 2-3-2 SLC) is currently tied for seventh in the SLC standings on eight points, just three behind the Lady Lions (4-7-4, 3-3-2 SLC) who are alone in fourth with 11 points. Third place East Texas A&M sits just six points clear of Nicholls and UTRGV who are tied for tied for 10
th place with seven points at the bottom of the standings.
For the season, the Huskies rank third in the Southland with just 1.25 goals allowed per game with goalkeeper
Emmy McKeon ranking third in the league in saves per game (5.09), save percentage (.800) and goals against average (1.273). Offensively,
Isabella Dillow still leads the team with four goals on the year with two game-winners.

Olivia Rossman all have three assists.
Southeastern dropped a home matchup to East Texas A&M this past Sunday by a 2-1 final after earning a 2-1 road win over UIW last Thursday. Aja Nelson, Alexandra Knight and Emma Ramsey for a trio of Lady Lions with three goals apiece this year with Nelson leading the team with seven points. Junior Kendall Curran has played every second in goal for SLU with 80 saves in 15 matches, a .769 save percentage and a goals against average of 1.60.
The Huskies will be back on campus at Sorrels Field for Senior Day this coming Sunday, Oct. 26, at 1:00 p.m. against the McNeese Cowgirls before closing out the regular season on Thursday, Oct. 30, against East Texas A&M in Commerce, Texas.
