HOUSTON - The HCU Women's Basketball team launched a new partnership with the Kendra Scott brand with the Huskies in the store on Saturday afternoon at the Highland Village location.
Saturday marked the first of several initiatives with the brand set the fall, including some on-campus pop-up events, a fashion show and another in-store promotion.
In addition, Kendra Scott will be gifting a "Fan of the Game" a piece of jewelry at each home women's basketball game to be presented by Coach
Donna Finnie at the conclusion of the ESPN+ broadcast.
"This partnership is so important to our program for many reasons but mainly because Kendra Scott herself is an inspiration to our young women," said Finnie. "To partner with such a successful female-led brand is an incredible opportunity for our players to see what can be built with hard work and determination."
Melina Bellomo, the women's basketball program's Director of Engagement, said "This is just the first of many endeavors with the Kendra Scott brand, who we are thrilled to be partnering with. We have some incredible opportunities to work with our program and provide companies access to fifteen young women with very bright futures who can be incredible brand ambassadors."
