FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. –
Alex Piquart saw his year comes to a close on Friday at the NCAA West First Round, held at John McDonnell Field at the University of Arkansas, running in the quarterfinals of the 800 meters.
Piquart, HCU's record holder in both the 800m and the 1500 meters, ran in the first heat on Friday and finished with a time of 1:54.87. He advanced to the quarterfinals via an impressive performance in the first round on Wednesday, improving upon his own school record by more than a second, running a 1:48.15.

Jessica Rabius, runs on Saturday, May 25, in the quarterfinals of the women's 1500m.
