AZUSA, Calif. – A day after a pair of school records were broken at the meet, the HCU track & field team made a strong showing with four runners competing on the final day of the Bryan Clay Invitational.
Jessica Rabius placed 75
th in the women's 1,500 meter invitational race with a time of 4:20.61, the fastest time in the Southland Conference this season. In the men's open 1500m,
Alex Piquart ran a 3:48.14, the third-fastest time in the conference so far this year.
Denzel Hinds, meanwhile, ran a season-best 53.18 in the 400 meter hurdles to finish 19
th while
Brianna Hinds posted a time of 1:04.45 in the women's 400h.
The Huskies are back in the Bayou City next weekend for the Rice J. Fred Duckett Twilight meet on Saturday, Apr. 20.
