th minute that was saved by NSU's Libe Banuelos.
Early in the second half, on a long throw in into the box, Taylor Spitzer passed to Julia Pinho Magna at the top of the box where she one-timed it through a crowd and into the left side of the net. McKeon came up with another save in the 74
th minute before HCU came up with the equalizer in the 81
st minute.
Lia Bonet sent a cross into the box that deflected off an NSU defender but
Katie Marker quickly gained control and found
Olivia Rossman who drilled a shot just inside the right post to even things up, 1-1.
The goal was Rossman's third of the season while the assist was Marker's second. McKeon finished the game with five saves in net for the Huskies.
Northwestern State held a 15-11 advantage in shot attempts and earned four corner kicks to HCU's three.
