Biography
2023 (Senior): Second Team Academic All-Southland Conference…started 14 matches while appearing in 17…finished the year with four goals and one assist for nine points…scored two of her goals in SLC play, at Lamar (9/22) and at Texas A&M-Commerce (10/6), one in the SLC Tournament win over A&M-Commerce (11/1) and her fourth in non-conference play against Texas State (9/3)…was third on the team with 27 shot attempts and 14 shots on goal…moved into a tie for 10th in program history with 32 career points…was sixth on the team with 1,183 minutes played…named to Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2022 (Junior): First Team Academic All-Southland Conference…Marker appeared in all 20 games and made 19 starts…led the Huskies in scoring with 11 points on five goals and one assist…scored game-winning goals in conference matches vs. Nicholls (10/7) and at McNeese (10/14)…also scored at North Texas (8/26), at Texas State (8/28) and at Sam Houston (9/4)…was credited with an assist in a win at Southeastern (10/16)…scored her five goals on just 19 shot attempts with 12 shots on goal…totaled 1,272 minutes on the pitch…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2021 (Sophomore): Second Team All-Southland Conference…made 13 starts while appearing in 18 games…led the Huskies and finished third in the conference with 11 points in SLC play…tied for the league lead with five assists…had a hand in four goals, scoring two and adding two assists, against Nicholls (9/19)…also scored the game-winner at Southeastern (10/17)…had another two-assist performance at Nicholls (10/14)…put 10 of her 21 shot attempts on target…played a total of 1,051 minutes on the year.
2020-21 (Freshman): Made 11 appearances in her inaugural season while making two starts…finished the year with one assist, coming in a win at Nicholls (4/2)…totaled 342 minutes for the season, playing a career-high 83 at Houston (2/4)...attempted two shots on the year with one on goal.
High School: Four-year letterwinner and three-year starter for coach Craig Foster at Clear Springs High School…named District Offensive Player of the Year as a senior, earning All-District honors all four years of high school…earned Academic All-State honors as a senior…member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Science National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society…played club soccer for Houston Dash PDL U19 and coach Gene Van Ness…helped lead her club team to the South Texas State Cup finals and the qualify for NPL Nationals twice.
