LUBBOCK, Texas – The Huskies return to action at the Red Raider Invitational at The Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas. The par-72, 6,563-yard golf club, has been home to Texas Tech since opening in 2003 and creates a challenging links-style design alongside a healthy dose of west Texas wind.

Elise Parel. Parel fired rounds of 72, 75, and 73 including 13 birdies over the three days. Junior
Lou Rousselot posted rounds of 74, 71, and 78 thanks to four birdies, an eagle, and a team leading 37 pars. After struggling in the first round with an 80, sophomore
Alejandra Ferrer bounced back nicely with back-to-back rounds of 72 to finish tied for 29
th place.
Making her first start of the season, graduate senior
Aysis Azarcon is coming off two top-25 finishes in seven starts for the Huskies last year. Freshman
Abigail Inocian rounds out the HCU lineup making her first start as a Husky.
The 11-team field includes host Texas Tech, HCU, ACU, Oklahoma City, Princeton, Iowa, UTEP, Campbell, Cincinnati, UIW, and UTRGV. The 54-hole tournament will commence with 36-holes on Monday starting at 8:15 a.m. and conclude with 18-holes on Tuesday, also starting at 8:15 a.m.
The Huskies will play alongside Oklahoma State and UTEP starting on the 10
th through 13
