WSOC: Reynolds Signs Pro Contract in Ireland

Bryce Reynolds becomes the first HBU women’s soccer player to sign a professional contract

HOUSTON – Former HBU women's soccer defender Bryce Reynolds has become the program's first player to sign a professional contract, signing with Galway Women's F.C. in Galway, Ireland.

Reynolds spent four seasons with the Huskies, immediately stepping in as a starting center back as a freshman. She appeared in all 71 games the Huskies played during her tenure on the team and her 71 games started ranks her 10th in the program's record book. Over her four seasons, she totaled 6,557 minutes played to tie for the fifth-most minutes played in program history.

A two-year team captain for the Huskies, Reynolds was a four-time Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll awardee and earned a bachelor of art degree in December 2020, and just received her master's in education in May.

Galway WFC plays in the Women's National League, the top women's league in the Football Association of Ireland.
