NATCHITOCHES, La. - HBU wraps up a stretch of eight-straight road games with a three-game Southland Conference Series against Northwestern State Friday through Sunday at Brown-Stroud Field.
 
Junior first baseman 
Brennen Bales is hitting .300 with seven doubles, 16 RBIs and 12 runs, while junior catcher 
Parker Edwards is hitting .293 with six home runs, eight doubles, 21 RBIs and 14 runs for the Huskies (14-24, 7-5 SLC). Junior catcher 
Kevin Ortiz is batting .380 with three doubles, nine RBIs and 10 runs and junior centerfielder 
Austin Roccaforte is hitting .274 with five doubles, three triples, 16 RBIs, 24 runs and leads the league with 30 walks for a .434 on-base percentage.
 
HBU is expected to start senior lefthander 
Austin Spinney (2-3, 6.55 ERA), senior righthander 
Jared Burch (1-2, 4.24 ERA) and junior righthander 
Matthew Charles (2-0, 7.61 ERA). Senior closer 
Andrew Reitmeyer ranks second in the conference with eight saves, which is tied for second on the HBU single-season list.
 
Gabe Colaianni is hitting .299 with five doubles, three triples, 16 RBIs and 16 runs, while Gray Rowlett is also hitting .299 with five doubles, a home run, 18 RBIs and 21 runs for NSU (17-19, 6-6). Jeffrey Elkins has seven home runs and 21 RBIs and Bo Willis has seven home runs and has driven in 30. Daunte Stuart is batting .287 with nine doubles, three home runs, 26 RBIs and 19 runs.
 
The Demons are likely to start lefthander Cal Carver (3-4, 4.62 ERA) and righthanders Johnathan Harmon (4-4, 3.15 ERA) and Drayton Brown (4-3, 3.61 ERA).
 
NSU leads the all-time series against HBU, 12-8, after the two teams split last year's four-game series in Houston.
