SPRING, Texas – The HBU men's golf team opened with a 316 and followed with 314 and stand 13^th after two rounds of its home tournament, the Colin Montgomerie HBU Invitational, Monday at Augusta Pines Golf Club.

Playing individually, freshman Haven McEntire is tied for 41^st after rounds of 75 and 80. For a total of 155. Senior Ransom Jacobson is tied for 62^nd with back-to-back rounds of 80 for 160, while sophomore Oliver Dickman is tied for 64^th after shooting 82 and 79 for 161 and senior Henry Suman is 81^st after rounds of 92 and 85 for a total of 177.
 
Southeastern leads the tournament at 9-over par 585, five strokes ahead of Gonzaga, 11 ahead of UIW, 16 ahead of Weber State and 19 clear of UT Rio Grande Valley.
 
The Lions' Michael Landry also leads the event individually at 3-under par 140 with back-to-back 70s. He leads Gonzaga's Charlie Magruder by three strokes and Nicholls' Braxton Kuntz by four.
 
The tournament concludes with the third round Tuesday morning.
