SEMMENS, Al. - The HCU men's golf team completed play at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate on Tuesday at Magnolia Grove in Semmes, Alabama.
The Huskies finished 13th in the 13-team field with a three-round total of 39-over par. HCU opened with rounds of 15-over and 21-over before closing with a 3-over 291 in the final round.
Junior
Brooks Pawlak led the Huskies, finishing 11th overall at 2-under par. Pawlak recorded rounds of 74 and 68 before closing with a 3-under 69 in the final round. In his final round, he carded birdies on holes seven and 10.
Senior
Mason Napier finished at 12-over with rounds of 73, 81 and 71. In the final round, Napier recorded a birdie on hole six and another on hole 16.
Senior
Brendon Willey posted rounds of 82, 79 and 72 to finish at 20-over. Willey recorded birdies on holes nine and 13 during the final round.
Freshman
Tyler Joines finished at 18-over after rounds of 75, 81 and 75, recording a birdie on hole 17 in the final round.
Senior
Roy Barrera IV rounded out the lineup with rounds of 77, 77 and 81 to finish at 22-over. Barrera recorded a birdie on hole nine in the final round.
HCU competed in a 13-team field that included South Alabama, Kansas State, Texas State and UAB among others. South Alabama claimed the team title at 26-under par.
