SEMMES, Al. - The HCU men's golf team completed play at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate on Tuesday at Magnolia Grove in Semmes, Alabama.
The Huskies finished 13th in the 13-team field with a two-round total of 36-over par after rounds of 15-over and 21-over.
Junior Brooks Pawlak led HCU, finishing at even par for the tournament. Pawlak opened with a 3-over 74, then recorded a 4-under 68 in the second round, carding birdies on holes four, five, 14 and 16.
Senior Mason Napier finished at 12-over after rounds of 73 and 81. Napier recorded a birdie on hole four in the opening round and added another on hole 12 in the second round.
Senior Roy Barrera IV also finished at 12-over with rounds of 77 and 77, recording a birdie on hole four in the first round.
Freshman Tyler Joines posted rounds of 75 and 81 to finish at 14-over, including a birdie on hole 12 in the opening round.
Senior Brendon Willey rounded out the lineup with rounds of 82 and 79 to finish at 19-over, recording birdies on holes four and seven in the second round.
HCU began second-round play Tuesday morning with tee times starting at 8:30 a.m. Pawlak teed off on hole seven, followed by Napier on hole 8A and Willey on hole 8B. Barrera started on hole nine, while Joines began his round on hole 10.
