KERRVILLE, Texas – The HBU men's golf team fired 3-under par 285 in the second round, led by senior Mathew Chairuangdej's 3-under par 69, and stand sixth after 36 holes at the Big Texan Invitational at Comanche Trace Golf Course.

New Orleans leads the tournament at 3-under par 573, one stroke ahead of Southeastern (574) and four ahead of Seton Hall, Midland Community College and Northern Colorado (577). HBU is just outside the top five, four strokes behind and three ahead of UIW.
 
UIW's Joe Buenfeld leads the tournament individually at 8-under par 136 after back-to-back rounds of 68. Northern Colorado's TJ Shehee and Southeastern's Charlie Forster are tied for second at 5-under par 139.
 
The tournament concludes with the third round Tuesday morning.
