HOUSTON - HBU returns home in the middle of its stretch of 12-of-15 on the road to take on UTSA in non-conference baseball Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Husky Field. The game will be shown on ESPN+ with Russ Reneau.
 
Senior infielder Jake Miller is hitting .309 with a home run, four RBIs and a team-leading nine runs for the Huskies (6-11), while junior infielder/outfielder Austin Roccaforte is hitting .277 with three doubles, a triple, six RBIs and eight runs. Junior catcher Parker Edwards is batting .318 with two home runs, two doubles, a team-leading seven RBIs and has scored four times.
 
HBU is expected to start junior righthander Thomas King (0-1, 12.46 ERA), who started last week's 10-2 victory over Lamar.
 
Shane Sirdashney is hitting .390 with six doubles, a home run and 12 RBIs for UTSA (10-5), while Leyton Barry is hitting .370 with five doubles, a homer, 15 RBIs and 13 runs. Ian Bailey is hitting .322 with six home runs, three doubles, a triple, 17 RBIs and 15 runs. Johnathan Tapia leads the Roadrunners with 19 runs and Chase Keng has driven in 16.
 
UTSA is likely to send righthander Luke Malone (2-0, 0.55 ERA) to the mound.
 
The Roadrunners have won the last seven meetings against the Huskies and leads the all-time series, 13-4. HBU's last victory in the series was a 5-2 victory on April 22, 2014, in Houston.
 
The Huskies will be back on the road to face Michigan State in a three-game series Friday through Sunday in East Lansing.
