HOUSTON – Rutgers collected 21 hits off of HBU's nine pitchers and used a 10-run sixth inning to clinch the series with an 18-3 victory Saturday afternoon at Husky Field.

Austin Roccaforte singled, walked and scored a run for the Huskies (0-2).
Ethan Abbott (0-1) took the loss for HBU, allowing three runs on five hits with four strikeouts and two walks in 2.1 innings.
Richie Schiekofer was 5-for-6 with a double, three RBIs and two runs, while Chris Brito was 3-for-6 with a double, four RBIs and three runs for the Scarlet Knights (2-0). Nick Cimillo went 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI and two runs and Ryan Lasko went 2-for-4 with a triple, three walks and two runs.
Ben Gorski (1-0) earned the win for Rutgers, holding HBU scoreless on two hits with a strikeout and a walk in three innings. Starter Jared Kollar gave up three runs on six hits with six strikeouts and two walks in four innings.
