HOUSTON – HBU returns for its only home game in a seven-game stretch when it hosts Prairie View A&M in a non-conference baseball matchup Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Husky Field. The Husky Sports Network broadcast with Russ Reneau will be available on HBUHuskies.com.
 
Senior first baseman Johnny Gonzales is hitting .391 with five doubles, a home run, a triple, five RBIs and seven runs, while junior catcher Todd Jackson is hitting .364 with two doubles, a home run, three RBIs and four runs for the Huskies (2-10). Senior rightfielder Brandon Bena and junior third baseman Jake Miller each have 10 hits.
 
Andrew Garcia is hitting .323 with three doubles, a triple, two RBIs and five runs, while David Garcia is hitting .320 with a double, two RBIs and three runs for the Panthers (2-10). Brayden Johnson is batting .300 with three doubles, seven RBIs and five runs.
 
PVAMU is expected to send righthander Derrick Curry to the mound for his second start of the season.
 
The Huskies return to action when they begin Southland Conference play on the road against Sam Houston State Friday through Sunday at Don Sanders Stadium in Huntsville.
