2019: Gonzales started 52 games at first base…hit .280 with a team-leading six home runs, tied for the team lead with 13 doubles, led the team with four triples and 24 walks and racked up 30 RBIs and 34 runs…recorded 17 multi-hit performaces…had three doubles and drove in three in the season-opener against Northeastern (2/15)…homered and drove in three against Northeastern (2/16)…went 3-for-4 with a double and a run against Cincinnati (2/22)…went 4-for-5 with a double and a triple against Sam Houston State (3/8)…went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs against the Bearkats (3/9)…went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple and scored four times against Prairie View A&M (3/12)…went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, three RBIs and three runs at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4/6)…went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs against Central Arkansas (4/28)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.


Previous School: Played two seasons at Cisco College for coach David White...as a sophomore, hit .386 with two home runs, five doubles, 19 RBIs, 21 runs and a .500 on-base percentage…as a redshirt freshman, hit .296 with four home runs, seven doubles, a triple, 31 RBIs and 30 runs…redshirted his freshman year at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
