NEW ORLEANS- Louisiana- The HBU Huskies head out to New Orleans for the Big Easy Classic to open the 2020 season. All five games can be followed through live stats by going to LouisianaTech.statbroadcast.com and clicking on the game. The password for the games is BigEasy20. 
 
The Huskies will open the season with a double header Friday. First of with the Big-12's Texas Tech in morning at 9:00 a.m. followed by Alabama A&M at noon. Saturday's events continue as the Huskies faceoff with reigning Conference USA champions Louisiana Tech at noon followed by a matchup with Jackson State at 2:30 p.m. To conclude the weekend the final matchup will be a rematch against Alabama A&M at 10 a.m. to end the Big Easy Classic for the Huskies.
 
Ticket prices for the tournament are:

$30 All-Tournament Pass (adults)

$15 All-Tournament Pass (17 and under)

$15 Single Day Pass (adults)

$5 Single Day Pass (17 and under)

Head Coach Mary-Ellen Hall is back in her 29^th season as the Huskies head coach after recording her 800^th victory last season. The Huskies signed 7 people this offseason, 6 of which are freshman and one transfer, Sarah Venker, from Ball State University was added to their pitching staff alongside Elliott Estes and Jessica Patak.
 
This year's senior are Riley Bullen, Heidi Jaquez, Amber Lotz, and Haley Melton.

The Huskies will head out to San Antonio to faceoff with the UTSA Roadrunners in their first midweek matchup of the season on Wednesday, February 12^th at 6 p.m.
