LAREDO, Texas – The HBU men's golf team is tied for 16th place after the first two rounds of the Border Olympics Monday at Max Mandel Municipal Golf Course.

Here is a look at the Huskies' scoreboard after 36 holes:
 


Sam Houston State is in first place with a total of 3-over par 565. UTSA is in second place at 6-over par 570 and ULM is third at 572. SHSU's Noah Steele sits in first place individually with a total of 9-under par 135, with teammate William Holcomb second at 6-under par 138. UTSA's Christian Fanfelle follows in third place at 5-under par 139.
 
The tournament concludes with the final round Tuesday and live scoring can be tracked on golfstat.com.
