LUBBOCK, Texas - Third-ranked Texas Tech put up a 10-spot in the second inning en route to a 24-3 victory over HBU Saturday at Dan Law Field.

Todd Jackson went 2-for-2 and homered for the Huskies (0-3), while junior third baseman

Johnny Gonzales tripled and score, while senior rightfielder

Senior lefthander
Solomon Klimeck allowed 13 runs, 10 earned, on seven hits in 1.2 innings. Junior
Jaron Roblyer gave up seven runs on eight hits in 3.1 innings and sophomore
Knight Newcomb gave up four runs on four hits in one inning.
Nate Romback went 3-for-4 with three home runs and seven RBIs and Jace Jung went 2-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs for Texas Tech (2-0). Cody Masters homered, drove in four runs and scored three times and Dru Baker went 3-for-6 and scored twice. Kelly Parker was 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a pair of runs.
Austin Becker allowed one run on three hits with four strikeouts and two walks in four innings to pick up the win.
The Huskies wrap up the weekend against Northern Colorado Sunday at 11 a.m.
