2019: Klimeck made 15 appearances on the mound, including one start…went 2-1 with an 8.39 ERA, 27 strikeouts and 17 walks in 24.2 innings…made his first start and earned the win, allowing one run on four hits and striking out three in four innings against Prairie View A&M (3/26)…tossed 2.2 scoreless innings in relief and struck out four to earn the win over UT Rio Grande Valley (4/10)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Previous School: Played his sophomore season at Eastfield College for coach Michael Martin…made 15 starts, going 9-3 with a 2.79 ERA and 95 strikeouts in 84 innings...earned first-team all-conference honors and was an ABCA/Rawlings First Team All-America selection…played his freshman year at Frank Phillips for coach Mario Eramo, going 2-9 with a 9.92 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 61.2 innings.

High School: Earned one letter at Trinity High School in Euless, Texas, for coach Will Averit…was 0-3 with a 4.59 ERA as a relief pitcher.

Personal: Full name is Solomon David Klimeck…born Feb. 18, 1998, in Boston…son of Gary and Jill Klimeck…has twin brothers, Noah and Immanuel, and one sister, Catherine…majoring in kinesiology.
