Chris Burns is expected to make his second career start, after taking a no-decision in last Wednesday's win over UT Rio Grande Valley.
Dalton Shuffield is hitting .345 with seven doubles, two triples, a home run, 13 RBIs and 22 runs, while Jaylen Hubbard is hitting .333 with nine doubles, four triples, four home runs, 20 RBIs and 35 runs for the Bobcats (23-13). Jaxon Williams is hitting .331 with four doubles, four homers, 19 RBIs and 38 runs, Will Hollis hits .319 with 11 doubles, a triple, two home runs, 25 RBIs and 20 runs, while Skyler Valentine is hitting .256 with six doubles, five home runs, 25 RBIs and 24 runs.
Texas State will likely start righthander Garrett Herrmann, who is 3-1 with a 3.90 ERA, 25 strikeouts and nine walks in seven starts.
The Huskies face Incarnate Word in a three-game Southland Conference series Thursday through Saturday in San Antonio, then return Tuesday, April 23 for a matchup against UTSA to finish off the road swing.
