NEW ORLEANS - HBU jumped out to an early lead, but was quiet the rest of the way as Tulane claimed a 3-1 victory to sweep the non-conference series Sunday afternoon at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.

Brandon Bena singled and drove in the only run of the game for the Huskies (5-18). Junior second baseman

Junior righthander
Kyle Gruller (0-3) took the loss, allowing two runs on four hits with five strikeouts and five walks in five innings. Senior
Daniel Endsley allowed one run on two hits with four strikeouts and a walk over the last three innings.
David Bedgood went 1-for-3 with a home run, a walk and scored twice, while Jonathon Artigues went 2-for-4 with a double for the Green Wave (17-7).
Chase Solesky (2-1) picked up the win, allowing one run on three hits with nine strikeouts and a walk in 5.1 innings and Brendan Cellucci earned his first save, holding HBU to one hit with a strikeout over the final 2.1 innings.
Gonzales doubled with two outs in the top of the first, then Bena followed with an RBI single to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead.
Bedgood tied the game with a solo home run to right in the second. Frankie Niemann walked and scored on a wild pitch in the third as Tulane took a 2-1 lead.
Bedgood drew a leadoff walk in the sixth, then scored on Trevor Jensen's double to make the score 3-1.
The Huskies return to action when they begin a four-game homestand by hosting Prairie View A&M Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Husky Field.
