2019: Gruller earned All-Southland Conference Third Team honors…made 12 starts on the mound, going 3-3 with a 2.18 ERA, 85 strikeouts and 39 walks in 74.1 innings…took a no-decision, allowing one unearned run on three hits with 11 strikeouts in seven innings of a 2-1 victory over Cincinnati (2/23)…named Southland Conference Pitcher of the Week (3/26)…gave up one run and struck out eight in seven innings of a 1-0 loss at Stephen F. Austin (3/17)…earned his first win, giving up one run on four hits and striking out 13 against Abilene Christian (4/13)…allowed two runs on three hits and struck out nine in 7.2 innings of a 4-2 win over Central Arkansas (4/28)…took a no-decision, allowing one run on six hits with nine strikeouts in eight innings and threw 140 pitches in a 4-3 loss at Nicholls (5/4)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA.


Previous School: Played two seasons at Wharton County Junior College for coach Keith Case…as a sophomore, made 14 appearances, including two starts, going 5-4 with a 3.70 ERA, 81 strikeouts and 30 walks, leading the team with 65.2 innings pitched...threw a two-hitter in the first game of the regional tournament…as a freshman, made 13 appearances out of the bullpen, going 0-2 with one save, a 7.16 ERA, 14 strikeouts and 10 walks in 16.1 innings.
