2018 (Senior): Endsley was granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA…made five appearances and four starts, before missing the rest of the season with an injury…went 0-3 with an 8.10 ERA, 11 strikeouts and 10 walks…made starts at Baylor, Fresno State, Rice and Louisiana Tech…allowed three runs, two earned, on eight hits with four strikeouts and two walks at Fresno State (2/25)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2017 (Junior): Made 17 appearances, including nine starts…went 3-2 with a 3.29 ERA, a save, 46 striekouts and 28 walks in 68.1 innings…took a no-decision, allowing three runs on seven hits and striking out a season-high seven in five innings in his first career start against Fordham (2/19)…allowed one unearned run on five hits with four strikeouts in 7.2 innings against Rhode Island (2/25)…tossed 2.2 shutout innings to earn the save in a 4-2 victory at Kansas (3/10)…pitched five shutout innings in relief, striking out six, to pick up his first win against Central Arkansas (4/8)…allowed three runs, only one earned, in 5.2 innings to earn the win against Abilene Christian (4/15)…took a no-decision, hurling 6.1 shutout innings and striking out six in a 3-1 win at Incarnate Word (4/23)…took a no-decision, allowing one run on two hits in 6.1 innings of a 4-1 win at New Orleans (5/7)…earned the victory, giving up four runs, three earned, in 8.1 innings of a 5-4 win to eliminate top-seeded McNeese in the Southland Conference Tournament (5/26)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Previous School: Played at Saddleback College for coach Sommer McCartney…as a redshirt freshman, went 2-0 with a 0.90 ERA, six saves, 16 strikeouts and only one walk in 30.0 innings…named first-team all-state, first-team all-Southern California, first-team all-conference and second-team Pacific Region All-America.
High School: Was a three-year letterwinner and two-year starter at Spring Valley High School for coach Paul Bassett...as a senior, went 8-3 with 3.20 ERA...played for Team Vegas and coach Buck Thomas.
Personal: Full name is Daniel Townsend Endsley...born Nov. 12, 1994, in Edmonds, Washington...son of Blaine and Mary Endsley…has two sisters, Jackie and Ellie…sister, Ellie, plays softball at Bethany College…majoring in kinesiology.
