BACO RATON, Florida – HBU men's golf remains in third after posting 283 in the second round and bringing its total to 565 at Osprey Point Golf Club.
Sophomore
Nicko Martinez leads the Huskies in sixth after carding 71 to bring his total to 139 at the conclusion of two rounds. Senior
Carlos Trevino and junior
Dan Dimaculangan fired 70 and are tied for 17
th with a total of 143. Senior
Val Almendarez posted 79 and tied for 45
th with 147, while junior
Zach Campbell shot 72 bringing his total to 157 to tie for 99
th.
Lynn finishes day two in the top spot of the team leaderboard with 22-under par 554. Connecticut follows in second with 18-under par 558, which seven strokes ahead of HBU. Jacksonville State sits at fourth with eight strokes behind HBU. Rounding out the top five is Bethune-Cookman with 1-under par 575.
Connecticut's Jimmy Hervol remains the leader of the individual standings, five ahead of Hartford's Ambrose Abbracciamento, six ahead of Jacksonville State's Jesus Montenegro and Lynn's Carlos Bustos and seven ahead of Lynn's Manuel Torres.
HBU is set to tee off with the final round Sunday at 7:45 with Georgetown, Connecticut and Lynn.
