FRESNO, California - HBU travels west to take on Fresno State in a four-game non-conference series Friday through Sunday at Pete Beiden Field at Bob Bennett Stadium.

Senior second baseman Jack Fitzgerald leads HBU (2-2), hitting .444 with two home runs and eight RBIs, after Tuesday's two home run, eight-RBI explosion against Texas Southern. Senior rightfielder Matt Heck has hit safely in all four games for a .333 average, while junior centerfielder Jonathan Ducoff is hitting .300 with two doubles and senior first baseman/catcher Jake Pulcheon is hitting .300 with five RBIs.

The Huskies are expected to send junior righthander Zach Carter (0-1, 1.50 ERA), senior lefthander Matthew McCollough (0-0, 1.50 ERA), senior righthander Marshall Herron (0-0, 0.00 ERA) and junior righthander Daniel Endsley (0-1, 16.50 ERA) to the hill.

Fresno State (4-1) is led by Carter Bins, who is hitting .364 with three doubles, a home run and eight RBIs, while Korby Batesole is hitting .389 with a  triple and has scored four times. JT Arruda is hitting .313 with a pair of home runs, six RBIs and four runs and Zach Ashford is hitting .429 with two doubles and two RBIs..

The Bulldogs projected starting rotation is righthanders Ryan Jensen (0-0, 0.00 ERA), Oscar Carvajal (1-0, 0.00 ERA), Edgar Gonzalez (1-0, 1.29 ERA) and Jaime Arias (0-0, 3.60 ERA).

This weekend's series marks the first meeting between the two schools.

Friday's game begins at 8:05 p.m. CST, followed by a doubleheader Saturday at 4:05 p.m. CST. The series wraps up with Sunday's single game at 3:05 p.m. CST.
