th in the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational posting 287 in the final round totaling 7-over par 871.
Senior
Val Almendarez tied for 34
th and fired 71 in the third bringing his total to 217, while senior
Carlos Trevino shot 72 and Junior
Dan Dimaculangan shot 70. Trevino and Dimaculangan tied for 43
rd with a total of 218. Junior
Zach Campbell tied for 57
th carding 74 to bring his total to 220. Sophomore
Nicko Martinez finished 106
th with an 85 in the final round and a total of 237.
Utah finishes in the top spot with a total of 22-under par 842, followed by University of Colorado also with a 22-under par 842. Wyoming takes 3
rd with an 18-under par 846, 12 ahead of UC Riverside, and 14 ahead of Oregon State.
For the individual board, Kyler Dunkle of Utah totaled 14-under 202 for 1
st, which was two ahead of Colorado's Spencer Painton, three ahead of UC Riverside's Tyler Moore, and five ahead of Air Force's Bryant Falconello.
The Huskies will compete in the Bayou Classic Monday Oct. 9 and Tuesday Oct. 10 in Pearland, Texas.
