CLOVIS, California – HBU freshman Tay Nance finished eighth in the triple jump with a mark of 12.01 meters at the 2016 USATF Junior Outdoor Championships late Sunday evening.
 
As one of the top-eight finishers, Nance earned All-America status to add to her decorated rookie season at HBU. She qualified for the NCAA West Regional, where she finished 42^nd, and she set both the indoor and outdoor school records in the triple jump. Her season-best and NCAA qualifying mark of 12.44 meters came at the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships.
