Samm Wiggins went 2-for-4, drove in a run, scored a run and threw out a runner for the Huskies (16-15). Junior leftfielder
Brandon Morones was 2-for-2 with an RBI and a pair of walks.
Baker finished the day 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored for the Roadrunners (19-14). Kevin Markham was 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run, Tyler Straub doubled and drove in a pair and Logan Kinder singled and scored twice.
Cody Brannon (3-1) picked up the win for UTSA, throwing five innings of scoreless relief, allowing two hits, while striking out three and walking one. Starter Logan Onda gave up two runs on six hits in three innings.
Junior lefthander
Weston Wick (0-1) took the loss for the Huskies, allowing three runs, only one earned, on four hits with four strikeouts in five innings.
HBU returns to action when it travels for a three-game Southland Conference series against Stephen F. Austin Friday through Sunday in Nacogdoches. All three games will be broadcast live on HBUHuskies.com, beginning 15 minutes before the first pitch with the pregame show.
