HBU leads the all-time series, 4-0, and squeaked by the Cardinals last month in Sharp, 67-64.
HBU (11-17 overall, 5-12 SLC) lost at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 73-48, Thursday night.
Tayler Jefferson had the game high in points (19) for the second consecutive game, as she went 7-for-16 from the floor and 4-of-8 from beyond the arc.
Erin McGarrachan chipped in with 15 points and tied the game high of seven rebounds.
On the season,
Rachel Arthur is 23rd in the Southland Conference with 10.7 points per game, while Jefferson is 26th averaging 10.5.
Anna Strickland is second in the conference with 1.9 blocked shots per game and seventh with 8.0 rebounds per contest.
As a team, the Huskies lead the conference with a 44.4 field-goal percentage and a 30.2 three-point percentage defense. HBU is second with a +5.2 rebounding differential and 4.89 blocked shots per game.
Incarnate Word (5-23, 2-15) dropped a 72-62 home decision to Abilene Christian Thursday. The Cardinals have not won since defeating Southeastern Louisiana Jan. 17.
Aricka Adams is 11th in the conference with 13.1 points per game, while Yvonne Maosa is the leading rebounder, averaging 7.0 boards per contest that ranks her 12th in the conference. Jazmine Holman is second with 2.5 steals per game and is fourth with an average of 33.8 minutes per game.
The 2015 Southland Conference Tournament will be held March 11-15 from the Merrell Center in Katy, Texas.
