HBU (11-15 overall, 5-10 SLC) is currently tied with Sam Houston State for the final playoff spot, while SFA (20-6, 13-2) is sitting on top of the conference standings on an eight-game winning streak.

Shanice Steenholdt will be honored as part of "Senior Day."
In HBU's last contest,
Rachel Arthur scored in double figures in her sixth-straight game, but the Huskies lost at Abilene Christian, 68-53, Wednesday night.
Arthur has either solely led or tied the Huskies in scoring for the third-consecutive contest, as she dropped 16 points. She set a new career high with two blocked shots.
Monet Neal followed with 12 points, while
Anna Strickland pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds, while registering six points, three blocks, two assists, and two steals.
Steenholdt remains the only player in the conference to average a double-double, with 17.8 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Arthur is 20th with 11.1 points per game. Strickland is second with 1.9 blocked shots per game and sixth in rebounding (8.3).
As a team, the Huskies lead the conference in field-goal percentage (44.9). They are second in blocked shots per game (5.00), assists per game (14.73), rebounding margin (+6.0), and three-point percentage defense (29.5).
SFA defeated visiting Incarnate Word, 58-44, Thursday evening. Tierany Henderson led SFA with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Porsha Roberts leads the conference with 9.3 rebounds per game and 2.3 blocked shots per contest. Her 17.4 points per contest rank her second behind Sam Houston State's Shernise Robertson. Roberts' 63.1 field-goal percentage not only leads the conference, but ranks her second in the nation behind Notre Dame's Brianna Turner. Taylor Ross is third in the conference with 4.7 assists per game. As a team, SFA leads the league in blocked shots per game (5.08) and assists per game (15.42).
After the game, HBU concludes the regular season at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Thursday, March 5 at 5 pm and Incarnate Word Saturday, March 7 at 2 pm.
