CONWAY, Ark. – The HBU women's soccer team's final regular season road trip is the longest in the conference as the Huskies make the trek to Arkansas to face the Bears of Central Arkansas Friday at 7:00 p.m., followed by a 1:00 p.m. first kick Sunday at Northwestern State.

The all-time series with Central Arkansas is even at 1-1-0, while HBU leads the series with Northwestern State, 2-1-1. HBU shut out the Bears, 2-0, in Conway last season and tied the Lady Demons, 1-1, in Natchitoches.

HBU (6-4-1 overall, 4-2-0 SLC) ended its three-game home stand with a 3-1 loss to Abilene Christian Oct. 9. Freshman forward Sabriah Spencer scored in her third-straight game. It was the first regular season conference loss to a team other than Stephen F. Austin since a 1-0 defeat to Sam Houston State Nov. 1, 2013.

On the season, Spencer is fifth in the conference in goals (7) and sixth in points (14), second among freshmen. She leads the conference with four game-winning goals. Ellee Hall is T-4th with five assists. In goal, Katie Turner and Alanis Guevara have split time. Turner is 4-2-1 with a 1.04 goals-against average (3rd in the SLC), a .750 save percentage, and three shutouts (2nd). Guevara is 2-2-0 with a 1.54 GAA, a .750 save percentage, and one clean sheet.

Central Arkansas (6-7-1, 3-2-1) tied conference leader Stephen F. Austin to a 1-1 stalemate last Friday. Camille Bassett leads the Bears with six goals and 12 points, while Shelby Wilson and Ashley Smith have 10 points apiece. Both Lauren Mercuri and Anna Hughes have three wins in goal. Mercuri's 0.88 GAA and .872 save percentage lead the conference.

Northwestern State (4-7-3, 1-3-2) snapped a six-game winless streak (0-4-2) with a 2-1 win double-OT over Sam Houston State Friday. Esdeina Gonzalez scored with 10 seconds left in the match. Brittany Caserma and Kayleigh Phillips each have four goals and nine points. Alex Latham is 1-3-2 with a 1.18 GAA (4th in SLC), a .825 save percentage (3rd), and one shutout. Brooke Bourbonais is 3-4-1 with a 1.53 GAA and a .710 save percentage.
