Gameday Information HOUSTON - HBU hosts Sam Houston State in the season finale to the Huskies' first official season, which will be Senior Day and Battle Blue Day, in Southland Conference football Saturday at 3 p.m. at Husky Stadium. For Battle Blue, all HBU fans are encouraged to wear blue to the game.

Quarterback Jared Johnson paces the SHSU (6-4, 5-1) offense, completing 55.6 percent of his passes for 1,952 yards, 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions, while rushing for 686 yards and five touchdowns. Running back Keshawn Hill has 757 yards and 16 touchdowns, while Yedidiah Louis is the team's leading receiver with 45 catches for 547 yards. Gerald Thomas leads the Bearkats with four touchdown receptions.
On defense, freshman defensive end P.J. Hall has 56 tackles, including 17 for losses, 6.0 sacks, an interception and a forced fumble. Michael Wade leads SHSU with 73 tackles and has a pair of interceptions, while Trenier Orr has a team-leading three picks.
