Steenholdt led all players with 24 points and 14 rebounds against Lamar on Dec. 20. She finished 10 points and six rebounds more than the next-highest player against a Lamar team that reached the WNIT last season. The 24 points were six shy of her career high and she finished a rebound short of her career mark. Steenholdt leads all DI freshmen in the nation in points per game, rebounds per game and double-doubles. On the season, she is averaging a double-double (16.7 ppg, 10.0 rpg) and has not scored fewer than 11 points in 10-straight games and no fewer than 15 in seven of the 12 contests.
