Junior first baseman Brennen Bales hit .467 (7-for-15) with four RBIs in the Huskies' four games and hit safely in all three games in the weekend series win over Nicholls. The Nebraska City, Nebraska, native went 1-for-3 against the Colonels Friday, then 4-for-5 with three RBIs in Saturday's 6-5 victory and 2-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's 9-2 series clincher. Bales is now hitting .522 in conference play.
