Senior guard Tyler Russell scored a season-high 16 points in the Huskies' 79-77 win over Lamar Saturday night. He went 4-of-7 from the floor, 2-of-3 from beyond the arc, and hit all six free throw attempts; the latter stat being a season high. He also tied his season-high of five rebounds. In Monday's 84-61 win over Central Arkansas, Russell scored 11 points, shooting 50 percent from the floor and going 4-of-5 from the charity stripe. He had three rebounds, two assists, one steal, and recorded his first block of the season.
