Senior guard Tayler Jefferson scored 13 points on 50 percent shooting in Saturday's win over New Orleans. She had three huge steals that came in a span of 14 seconds. After making a layup, she stole the in-bounds pass, made another layup plus the ensuing free throw, then stole another pass which led to a pair of free throws, turning a 10-point lead to a 17-point advantage. Jefferson's three-pointer in Thursday's win over Central Arkansas was part of the turnaround for the Huskies, helping HBU turn a slim 3-point advantage to close the first half on an 8-2 run. She averaged 10 points, 3.5 assists, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in the two games.
