Russell averaged 14.5 ppg and 3.8 rpg in the Huskies' 2-2 week, earning him Great West Conference Player of the Week honors. He scored 20 points and added six rebounds in the Huskies' win over Cal State-Fullerton on Nov. 20. He averaged 14.6 ppg and 4.0 rpg in the three-day Beryl Shipley Classic, earning All-Tournament honors. Russell scored 14 points in HBU's home win over Bethune-Cookman on Nov. 14. For the season, he is third on the team with 12.0 ppg and has recorded 3.6 rpg, eight assists and three steals.
