Senior forward Atif Russell was a catalyst off the bench for the Huskies in a pair of critical road wins, leading the team in scoring in both. In Thursday's victory over McNeese, the Katy, Texas, native scored all 14 of his points in the second half of a game in which HBU trailed by 11 at the half and by as many as 20 in the second half. Then in Saturday's 75-68 win at Lamar, he was nearly perfect from the field in matching his season-high of 18 points to lead the Huskies in scoring while also adding five rebounds.
